An air fryer manufacturer has issued an important warning to anyone looking to buy one.
The quick and efficient cookers have taken the world by storm with many people rushing out to buy one to replace their ovens. Air fryers have been proved to use less energy and could cook your food much quicker.

The brand is a highly sort after one and many of their products are repeatedly sold out. Scammers are taking advantage of this by pretending to sell the products at cheaper prices on duped websites.
Some websites offering expensive air fryers for almost 70% off. One website appears to show the Ninja Max Foodi which normally retails for £249 for just £79, reported Birmingham Live.
Shoppers have been flocking to social media groups to warn others of the scams. One shopper asked others in Reduce Your Supermarket Spend Facebook group if one of the fraudulent websites was real with many claiming it was a "scam". Other websites have also been flagged by shoppers which have appeared claiming to be "outlet" websites and "official" Ninja websites.
People warned the unsuspecting shopper about the possible scam. One person said: "Be very careful. I bought one from a scam website. Going to have to try and sort with my bank." Another person added: "To good to be true at that price".
A spokesperson for Ninja said: “Following an unprecedented surge in demand for Ninja products, particularly our Air Fryers, we have become aware of a rise in fraudulent websites appearing to offer our products at greatly reduced prices. We would recommend any new or existing customers only purchase goods through the official Ninja website (ninjakitchen.co.uk) or via a reputable retail partner to ensure you receive our 5 star rated products as ordered.”
