Nine Perfect Strangers is a mini-series new to Channel 4 this autumn and based on the New York Times bestseller novel of the same name. Starring Welsh actor Luke Evans - You can read more about Luke here - Nine Perfect Strangers is written by Liane Moriarty who is behind hit series Big Little Lies.
If you were a fan of Big Little Lies you are sure to love this drama based in Australia, about nine strangers meeting at a health and wellness resort where everything is not as it seems. As they try and tackle their inner demons, they realise the people trying to help them aren't completely in their corner.

Where is Nine Perfect Strangers filmed?
Visitors to the trendy seaside resort of Byron Bay in Australia will recognise many of the locations. Spa resort Soma was used for the main setting of the drama - wellness retreat Tranquillum.
Many of the flashback sequences were filmed in Sydney and also the town of Ballina in New South Wales, where they actually added snow to the Australian landscape. Killen Falls is used in episode there, where we see some of the characters take a feel-the-fear leap into the waters.
How many episodes are there?
There will be eight episodes in this miniseries, each airing weekly on Channel 4.
When is it on TV?
Nine Perfect Strangers starts on Wednesday, September 28 at 9pm and airs weekly.
Who's in the cast?
Pontypool-born Luke Evans, known for playing Gaston in the live-action Beauty and the Beast, is playing Lars one of the nine strangers who is a divorce lawyer, alongside the rest of the star-studded cast. Nicole Kidman (Aquaman) is playing Masha, who is the Russian woman who runs the Tranquillum House where the nine strangers meet. Tiffany Boone (The Following) will be Deliah, who works at the Tranquillum House, and Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) as Yao who also works at the house.
Regina Hall (Girls Trip) is a stranger who is a single mother-of-four, Michael Shannon (Take Shelter) as Napoleon, stranger who is one half of a married couple who have lost a twin son, Asher Keddie (X-Men Origins: Wolverine) as Heather the wife to Napoleon and their daughter Zoe who is played by Grace Van Patten (Under the Silver Lake).
Other strangers are Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids) playing Francis a romance novelist, Bobby Cannavale (Ant-Man) playing Tony a former Australian footballer, Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Jessica who won the lottery and loves plastic surgery and Melvin Gregg (Snowfall) who plays Ben, the car-obsessed husband of Jessica.
