Nina Carberry the bookies favourite to win RTE's Dancing with the Stars

Nina Carberry is leading as the bookies favourite to win RTE's Dancing with the Stars.

With over 40% of bets with Ladbrokes going in her favour, the Irish jockey stands at 6/4 to win the Glitterball Trophy.

Meanwhile, Dublin singer Erica Cody came out on top of the leaderboard on last night's show having received the first 10 of the series.

According to bookies, Erica is the 7/2 second favourite.

Ellen Keane is also in the running at 5/1, while Jordan Conroy can be backed at 6/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: "Punters are mad about Nina Carberry judging by the amount of bets going in her favour. She didn’t top the leader board this week, but that hasn’t put punters off as her odds continue to shorten at the head of the market."

Ronan Keating's daughter Missy Keating can be backed at 8/1, Nicholas Roche at 18/1, Grainne Seoige at 22/1 and Aengus MacGrianna at 33/1.

Comedian Neil Delamere was voted off the show in last night's episode after judge Brian Redmond said that he "tried maybe a little bit too hard".

Before his departure, Neil said: "It's pretty intense and I feel that I've learned a new skill. I didn't listen to what anybody else said, all you can do is your best in any individual dance."

Erica came out on top of the leader board after she took on The Princess and the Frog for her routine. She explained that she was proud to portray a black Disney princess during the performance.

Nina performed a Tomb Raider themed tango and was praised for her "good characterisation" by judge Brian.
