Nikola Jokić is not happy with his Denver Nuggets teammates.
O.K., not really, but he didn’t hesitate to jokingly throw them under the bus for forgetting to give him a birthday present over the All-Star break.
“Nothing,” Jokić said when asked what gift his teammates gave him. “Absolutely nothing.”
“Bad teammates. Bad teammates. ... Terrible teammates.”
"Your birthday was last week, did these guys get you anything?"

Jokić, who turned 29 years old on Feb. 19, didn’t hold it against his teammates on the court as he dished out 16 assists in Denver’s 119–103 victory over the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.
His teammates now have one year to brainstorm a fitting gift for his 30th birthday next February. They can’t go wrong with giving the two-time NBA MVP a gift that has something to do with horses, his biggest passion off the court.
