NIGEL Farage has claimed he "wasn't even listening" to a conversation in which he appeared to discuss funnelling foreign money into Reform UK – which would be illegal.

In an interview with the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg which aired on Sunday, the Reform UK leader claimed both to know electoral donations law "better than anybody", but also that he was "not a compliance officer" so would have been unaware of the intricacies of donations law.
