Nigel Farage has announced a wave of local politicians defecting to Reform UK as the party gears up its push for success in council elections in May.

At a press conference he read out a list of 29 councillors switching their allegiances to Reform, from a selection of parties including Conservatives, Liberal Democrats, Labour and independent groups.
