Nicollette Sheridan has claimed Bravo producers have stooped to a "desperate" new low in an effort to convince her to star on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The 59-year-old took to Twitter on Sunday to hit out at the producers as she claimed they "knocked at my door" to ask her to join the cast for the 13th season of the hit reality show.
"Knocking at my door…how desperate are y'all to have me? @BravoTV @Andy #RHOBH," Nicollette wrote as she also shared a poll for fans to vote whether they thought it was "desperate" or "not desperate".
She also replied to her tweet with a GIF of Jack Nicholson knocking on a door in The Shining.
Despite seeming to suggest she isn't interested in joining the hit reality show, fans begged her to reconsider.
One person urged: "Loved watching you on tv years ago. Come back to us," while another commented: "You would be a blast to have you on. Go get Erika, I beg you!!!"
"@Andy cast this icon, immediately #RHOBH," a third fan begged.
Someone else insisted: "Nicollette is the housewife Beverly Hills needs," while a fifth fan tweeted: "Are you kidding ! Don't be teasing us! It would be freaking amazing if you are on."
Nicollette, who is well-known for playing Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives, already has some ties to the Real Housewives cast.
The actress was married to Lisa Rinna's husband Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1992. She was also married to Denise Richards' husband Aaron Phypers from 2015 to 2018.
Lisa Rinna announced her departure from the show earlier this year after appearing on eight seasons of the programme, spanning almost 10 years.
The TV personality recently admitted she "hated" the last year of filming RHOBH and said stories were often shown from just one person's point of view.
The actress and businesswoman was involved in a large number of drama-filled moments and social media messiness.
During her last year of filming, Lisa had to deal with the death of her mother Lois while navigating her feud with Kathy Hilton.
