Nicole Shanahan Questions President Biden's Authority As Election Nears

U.S. President Biden visits Israel amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, made a statement on Monday suggesting that President Biden is currently functioning as 'basically president in name only.'

Shanahan expressed her views in a video shared on X, emphasizing that regardless of one's personal feelings towards Biden, there is a perception that something is amiss in the way the Democratic Party handled his candidacy post-primaries.

During the Democratic National Convention, Biden acknowledged the remaining five months of his term, stating that he has 'a lot to do.' He also humorously compared himself to Vice President Kamala Harris, highlighting her previous role as vice president as well.

Some X users raised doubts about Biden's authority, with one questioning the public's awareness of his current position in office.

Former Trump campaign operative Steve Cortes urged Americans to 'Pray for America,' emphasizing that Biden still holds the presidential office for 154 more days. Biden, in his DNC address, reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his duties during the remaining months of his term.

'Folks, I've got five months left in my presidency. I've got a lot to do. I intend to get it done,' Biden affirmed.
