Nicola Sturgeon 'spoken to' by Police Scotland after being pictured without a mask

Police Scotland have confirmed that they have spoken with Nicola Sturgeon after she was pictured without a mask inside a barbers on Saturday.

Officers say that they reminded the First Minister “of the importance of wearing a face covering when there is a legal requirement to do so.”

Social media footage from Saturday appeared to show the SNP leader without a mask as she visited a barber shop whilst election campaigning in East Kilbride.
