Nicola Peltz has sparked pregnancy rumours after posting a photo of herself with a bump to her Instagram account.
The 28-year-old actress - who tied the knot to Brooklyn Beckham, 23, last April - showed off her bare stomach in a white T-shirt, grey zip-up hoodie and low-waist pink sweatpants in an upload yesterday.
Quickly, fans flocked to the comments section of her social media post to address the image, with one penning: “Omg I thought it was a pregnancy announcement.”
“You are pregnant?”, another asked, while a third added: “Omg I thought it was a pregnancy announcement.”
“Congrats on the pregnancy,” someone else said.
However, Nicole said in her caption, “Some lola film,” that the snaps were taken on the set of Lola James - Nicola’s directorial debut - where Nicole appears to be playing the role of an expectant mother.
One of Nicole’s followers seemed to shut down the pregnancy rumours as they wrote: "In the 1961 film this is probably based on the main character Lola is pregnant, so I'm guessing this is meant to look like she's pregnant for film."
As per Deadline , the film is set to take place in 2002 and centres around the 19-year-old protagonist Lola, who tries to flee with her younger brother, Arlo, from a toxic home environment.
Meanwhile, Lola is also battling with a drug addiction, and their situation rapidly goes downhill when a tragic event drastically changes their lives.
Appearing to announce that she was already working on the film behind the scenes, her new bestie Selena Gomez commented: "Ugh ready to see this film!!!!!"
Brooklyn, the son of iconic celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham, proved his support for his wife as he commented on the post: "So so so proud of you baby xxx".
He also uploaded her post onto his Instagram stories and wrote: "So proud of you x can't believe you wrote directed and starred in this. Love you x"
