Brooklyn Beckham's new wife Nicola Peltz revealed she didn't like him at first after the pair locked eyes from across the fields of Coachella back in 2017.
The pair, who landed the front cover of Vogue Magazine after their multi million dollar wedding last month, said it wasn't exactly love at first sight.
Nicola explained that she did not hit it off straight away with her future spouse, the son of David and Victoria Beckham, 23, when she was first introduced to him at the festival.
The Bates Motel actress, 27, said: "We didn't get along at first".
Despite their initial meeting, the pair became engaged in June 2020 and, after twice postponing their wedding due to Covid-19, got married at the home of Peltz’s father, US billionaire Nelson Peltz, in April.
"When the world was in lockdown, we went through different variations of what a wedding would look like," she said.
"We weren’t sure if we should do a small one earlier and then a big party. Eventually, we decided we wanted the big wedding as soon as it was possible to do it safely.
"And we’re so happy we did. It was amazing to be in the presence of so many people we love again."
The stunning husband and wife duo featured in a selection of artistic wedding shots splashed across the glossy pages after the publication had exclusive rights to their big day.
Nicola, 27, also revealed how her mum added a secret, and very special touch to her wedding gown.
Without her knowing, Nicola's mum Claudia asked the seamstress to sew an evil eye to protect her as well as a sweet message.
In a baby blue thread, the words were stitched: "Nicola, my heart. You are me, I am you. All my love, all my life, my beautiful girl, inside and out. Love, mom."
Nicola, who wore Victoria Beckham at her engagement party, looked stunning in the couture bridal gown from Valentino.
Elsewhere in the interview, the couple revealed how their wedding guests tucked into a Wendy's food truck at the after party, and Nicola who hadn't eaten all day ate three burgers in a row.
As well as being inspired by Brooklyn's famous 90s wedding at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland, they also drew from Iman and David Bowie's wedding.
The couple said their vows in front of A-List stars including Spice Girls Mel B and Mel C, American actress Eva Longoria and tennis champion Serena Williams.
The kiss the couple shared after saying "I do" was said to last six seconds, and this moment will be one of the snaps shared in the magazine.
The actress and the amateur chef said they were both glad that they waited in the end, with Vogue describing their big day as the "wedding of the year".
