In the latest update to the never-ending wedding saga from the darkest crevices of my nightmares, Papa Peltz’s attorney has slammed Plan Design Events (PDE) wedding planners and for leaking wild texts from Nicola Peltz in their counterclaim.
In a court file obtained by , he called the divulging of texts “a desperate effort to distract from their own failure to accomplish anything of substance in the short time they purported to act as replacement wedding planners.”
Damn, Kreitzer, tell us how you really feel.
He also claimed that the PDE girls coming for Nicola Peltz and her mother Claudia Peltz and including them as defendants were “salacious, meritless and legally deficient”, “frivolous”, and also, my favourite accusation, “a good old fashion shake-down”.
Lordy lordy, will this bin fire of a wedding aftermath ever be put out?
In case you missed it (and I don’t blame you, there are one million stages to this story,) here’s everything that’s happened so far:
In the most recent update to this story before Papa Peltz’s new statement, newlydread couple Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham decided to seek out a SECOND wedding, as if the first one wasn’t dramatic enough.
According to an anon source claiming to be close to the family, Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are looking to have another wedding to celebrate their one-year anniversary and apparently plan to make this one a “positive, happy day” and use it as a way to “erase” all between Nicola and .
“The whole thing was a nightmare. She was far from completely happy with the wedding, the build-up with the three different planners, and associates it now with rows, issues and tension,” the source told .
“The idea of doing it all again is appealing to [Victoria] as well. The feud wouldn’t be erased overnight with just another wedding, of course, but it could be a great way to mark a fresh start.”
Hopefully, it all goes according to plan for the insanely , but let’s just go over everything that went wrong with the first wedding because… there was a . Strap in.
Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba, the wedding planners being sued by Nicola Peltz’s billionaire daddy Nelson Peltz for allegedly fucking up her big day, decided to countersue his ass in February.
In the process of doing so, they also spilt a of family tea, including messages that imply secrets were kept from Victoria Beckham.
But hey, walk down the aisle in a new dress, that’ll fix things.
The counterclaim came after Papa Peltz suedBraghin and Grijalba for refusing to return his US$159,000 (AU$230,190) wedding deposit.
“Nicola is a world-famous actress who has starred in blockbuster movies and television shows, including, among others, , and ,” Nelson Peltz’s attorneys wrote in the lawsuit.
“The guest list included more than five hundred people, including numerous celebrities, athletes, dignitaries and other influential individuals, who travelled from all around the globe to attend.
“The celebrity of the wedding couple combined with the anticipated attendance of many high-profile guests required that the wedding planner had the expertise and staffing to plan, coordinate and execute a wedding event of the expected calibre and complexity.”
Living for the attorneys pretending that is something to be proud of.
In response, Braghin and Grijalba decided to sue Nicola Peltz, her mother Claudia Peltzgood ol’ Nelson Peltz and even wedding designer for £41,000 (AU$71,000) in damages, according to .
The 188-page counterclaim lawsuit was filed in a Miami court and alleges the Peltz family breached the contract and made “interference” with a business deal. It also calls Nelson Peltz a “billionaire bully,” among other things.
The court file contained multiple screenshots of messages between the Peltz family and the PDE girls, which reveal quite a few spicy facts about how this wedding disaster went down.
Firstly, the counterclaim revealed Nicola Peltz and her mother tried to hide all errors in the wedding planning stage from Victoria Beckham. Your guess is as good as mine as to why this was.
“Both Claudia and Nicola had insisted that Victoria Beckham could not know about any internal mistakes regarding the ongoing planning of her son’s wedding, including any errors with the guest list,” read the lawsuit.
Nelson Peltz is also alleged to have been *this* close to calling off the entire wedding after saying it was a “shitshow”. Claudia Peltz apparently “begged” him to change his mind as it would “destroy Nicola’s career”.
Other messages revealed Nicola Peltz complained the flowers “weren’t white enough” and asked for a “water aisle and matching water dance floor”. She also debated having a Wendy’s fast food truck at the reception that would sell a “Nicola and Brooklyn Combo” and a “Bag It Like Beckham”. Unsurprisingly, this part was Brooklyn’s idea.
“Like double or single burger and a Nicola burger witch [sic] is no bun and it’s lettuce instead of bun and meat for the girls,” Brooklyn Beckham reportedly wrote in a text.
“I don’t love it. I like personalised but not that,” Nicola allegedly responded, followed by a tasteful vom emoji.
“These names are embarrassing.”
The PDE girls also revealed messages in which Nicola reportedly calls the guest list a “murder scene”.
“This is not what I asked for. I ASKED FOR OUR INVITE LIST. IN. VITE. NOT. RSVP. Can u [sic] manage to send that to me,” Nicola allegedly wrote to the PDE girls.
“I don’t want it to be so complicated. I just want a list PLEASE.”
The girls also allege that towards the end of their time with the Peltz famiglia, Nelson Peltz sent a rather dismissive message to Grijalba.
“Arianna, I don’t want to keep talking to you, this is clearly not going to work. I will have my people call you. I don’t like to have these types of conversations,” he reportedly texted.
A spokesperson for Nelson Peltz has come out to state that Braghin and Grijalba’s counterclaim is “replete with inaccuracies” and has “no merit”.

The PDE girls spoke to () about the Peltz lawsuit in early February, which lawyer labelled as “frivolous”.
According to Braghin and Grijalba, they worked 17-hour days to ensure Peltz’s US$3.5 million (AU$5.6 million) wedding to alleged chef Brooklyn Beckham went off without a hitch.
They also claimed Nicola Peltz sent them a sweet text the day before they were fired saying, “You’re killing it!”, and that they’re owed more than US$159,000 for the work they did.
A truly interesting text to send someone the day before you kick ’em to the curb. I have many a question.
“We love what we do and we’re good at it,” Braghin told . She added that in the 17 years she and Grijalba have been working as wedding planners, “never once in that time” have they felt “bullied or disrespected by any of our clients”.
“My daughter gives the best job description when she says, ‘My mommy makes dreams come true’,” she continued.
“If it was Mr Peltz’s mission to damage our reputations, impact our business and hurt our families, then mission accomplished.”
Braghin and Grijalba’s lawyer told the lawsuit Nelson Peltz filed is misleading.
Oh, how the foreshadowing has now come to fruition. So sweet, so juicy.

As you can see, one of the PDE girls joked that after all the stress around planning the wedding, they went off to get a little drink before they went insane. Understandable, queen.
I mean, even Nicola Peltz seemingly agrees by the looks of her “yes queen!!!!!!!” message.
However, Nelson Peltz’s attorneys have used this message as evidence to argue that the PDE girls were unprofessional and would “abuse alcohol”.
“References to alcohol use and possible abuse were not unusual,” read the lawsuit.

But Rosemberg said: “Nobody has seen all the texts or any of the emails”. Consider me .
Per , the PDE girls will reveal texts showing that folks were going hog wild for their stunning wedding planning abilities.
One text from Nicola Peltz sent on March 3, 2022 reportedly read: “You’re killing it!”
In another, Brooklyn Beckham showered the gals in praise by writing, “Thank you guys so much for everything you’re doing.”
“Brooklyn is a very sweet person,” Grijalba told .
“He treated us with respect and courtesy. He is a gentleman. We have nothing but respect for the Beckhams.”
Look, he can be as nice as he wants but we will never forgive him for that which was literally just a G&T. He is never beating the crap bartender allegations.
Back to the shitshow wedding though, apparently Nicola Peltz’s assistant even slung the PDE girls a text after they were fired thanking them for “getting shit done”.
The PDE girls were Nicola Peltz’s wedding planners (out of a total of three), after she decided wedding planner to the stars just didn’t cut it. Ultimately it was who planned the wedding, so as you could imagine there was a bit of drama between the bride and her team.
“Peltz had presented them with the opportunity of a lifetime — to have their names associated with the wedding of two world-famous celebrities, which would undoubtedly propel PDE into wedding planning stardom,” Nelson’s lawsuit read.
“In reality, however, it later became clear that PDE viewed this as an opportunity to take advantage of Peltz by making material misrepresentations on both their website and in person regarding their experience, expertise, and capability of planning the wedding.
“Admitting that they lacked the skills to perform as promised, PDE recommended hiring an additional wedding planner.”
Every line I read from this lawsuit gives me a major ick towards the Peltz family. I understand they’re mega-wealthy billionaires but my God, please get over yourselves.
The PDE girls are refusing to pay back Nelson Peltz’s wedding deposit.
Before ALL this, the wedding was when it was revealed that the Peltzes had beef with the Beckhams while planning the big day. What a scandalous bunch.
