Nicki Minaj has revealed the reasons behind her wardrobe malfunction at this year's Met Gala event in New York City.
The rapper, 39, appeared to be constantly tugging at her top to make sure it covered her ample chest.
The look, which was designed by Burberry’s Riccardo Tisci, saw the singer look stunning in the black gown with feathers.
It also featured a large black belt and a pair of leather pants. Nicki finished off the look with a more casual style as she donned a black baseball cap, while also covering herself in jewels.
However, despite loving the outfit, the singer admitted she struggled to keep her boobs in place as the strapless gown wasn't correctly fitted.
She revealed: "The only unplanned thing about my look is that my boobs [are] popping out because they made my cup size a little small."
The star was speaking to La La Anthony on the red carpet who joked the dressed must have been created before she gave birth at the back end of 2020.
Nicki jokingly agreed and replied: "Enjoy these t***es, because you won’t ever see them again."
Malfunction aside, Nicki was full of praise for the outfit and the person who made it.
She continued: "I’m here with my baby, Riccardo. I love Riccardo, that’s really my friend. So I’m here supporting him, that’s all. But I love the hat.
"I’m obsessed with the hat. I didn’t wanna do the look if I couldn’t do the hat. So, he let me wear the hat."
She went on to say she was honoured to be wearing the outfit and added that the body jewels were far from easy to attach.
"You know I don’t like to sit, I’m so impatient, but everything’s for Riccardo. [McGrath’s] whole team did such an amazing job, and I was honoured," she said.
Nicki was one of many stars to take the opportunity to showcase their style at the biggest event of the fashion calendar.
While some opted for a more toned down approach, others fully utilised the opportunity to show off their stylish flair.
Co-chair for the event Blake Lively stunned in a double outfit as she was one of the first names to arrive on the red carpet.
The actress unwrapped from her glorious copper gown into a majestic turquoise number shortly after she arrived at the glitzy event as hubby Ryan Reynolds looked on with pride.
