Nick Sirianni gave an amusingly blunt answer when asked about his role with Eagles

Despite speculation that he could be out of a job, Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni will keep his job going into the 2024 season.

Sirianni talked to media on Wednesday alongside Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman to discuss the future of the franchise, which will involve pursuing two new coordinators.

The Eagles fell short of Super Bowl expectations this season after appearing in last year’s big game, and a woeful second half of the season put Sirianni’s job in the spotlight.

Well, he’s back, and he’ll try to get the Eagles back to elite status in the NFL.

However, a reporter still asked Sirianni at the presser what his role would be with the coaching staff going ahead. The Eagles coach gave a very blunt answer in return.

We’re not sure how you change Sirianni’s role unless he takes on the play calling on offense, so there wasn’t much the Eagles coach could say in response.

Even still, this is a very amusing exchange in a transitional, tense time for Philadelphia football.
