Nick Saban had a priceless reaction to ESPN’s David Pollack raving about Georgia’s dominance

Alabama head coach Nick Saban might be second-guessing his decision to appear on ESPN’s broadcast of the College Football Playoff National Championship between Georgia and TCU.

With the Bulldogs absolutely dominating the Horned Frogs in the first half, ESPN analyst and former Georgia linebacker David Pollack spoke to how the game was signaling a major shift in the college football world.

“They’ve taken a hold of college football,” Pollack said of his alma mater.

However, it’s who he said it right in front of that is just hilarious. Saban was looking right at Pollack as he dropped that inevitable truth bomb.

Judging by Saban’s reaction, a little bit of his soul died right at the broadcasting table.

Yowza. While Saban has enjoyed one of the best runs of any college football coach in history with Alabama, he’s now watching his old defensive coordinator, Kirby Smart, build his own dynasty at Georgia.

It can’t be easy to see a changing of the guard in your own conference, but Saban has plenty to lean on for what he’s accomplished. Everybody has to eat a slice of humble pie eventually.
