Newcastle United may have lost their top-four battle to Arsenal on Sunday, but Magpies goalkeeper Nick Pope's impressive display ensure Eddie Howe's side remained in the game. While United came out of the traps firing on all cylinders, they were rocked by Martin Odegaard's opener against the run of the play.
However, Pope then had to be at his best to deny several big Arsenal first-half chances as the Gunners took a slender lead to the break. He was helpless to stop Fabian Schar's own goal which gave Mikel Arteta's side a two-goal margin but ensured the damage didn't get any worse as Newcastle came out second best.
It was that performance which earned the England goalkeeper top marks in our fans ratings. We asked you to rate each Newcastle player out of 10 from the defeat to Arsenal, and Pope topped the scores with an average mark of 7.4.
