The adorable name of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s baby daughter has finally been confirmed.
The Jonas Brothers star, 29, and his actress wife, 39, welcomed a little girl via surrogate earlier this year.
Jonas and Chopra announced their child’s birth on social media, but didn’t divulge her name.
Little else was known about the tot - until now that is.
According to TMZ, who obtained a copy of her birth certificate, Jonas and Chopra’s daughter is called Malti Marie.
The legal document further reveals that Malti was born at a hospital in San Diego, California, just after 8pm on January 15 which makes her a Capricorn.
The name Malti has a special meaning as it means “small fragrant flower or Moonlight” and is of Sanskrit, Indian origin.
In their statement two weeks after Malti’s birth, Jonas and Chopra said in a statement: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.
“We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family,”
The couple were first linked in 2017 and have been married since 2018.
