Nick Bosa says Justin Fields reminds him of Michael Vick

We all know how good Justin Fields is. We witnessed his greatness up close for two years in Columbus. And while the numbers haven’t been eye-popping during his stint in the NFL so far, some of the blame can be traced back to a poor supporting cast.

That doesn’t take away from the fact Fields has all the tools to be a top-tier quarterback in the league, and others are seeing the same thing. In fact, he put the league on notice with his ability to make electric things happen on the ground last season. In a recent interview with NFL Films, several players gave high praise to Fields, including former Ohio State star defensive end Nick Bosa.

Bosa started off saying, “He’s probably the best running quarterback I’ve seen.” Later in the clip, Bosa said the former Buckeye QB reminds him of Michael Vick on the field, and he thinks Fields will continue to become a better passer as well.

In a recent interview with CBS Sports, Fields said he thinks he can throw for 4,000 yards this season and break the Chicago Bears single-season record. The Bears have added more weapons around their young quarterback for the upcoming season, which is a step in the right direction.

However, it remains to be seen if an improved offensive line can protect Fields and give him time in the pocket to make throws. If so, Fields’ prediction just might come true. If not, we’ll probably continue to see his legs working the magic that has Bosa raving.
