Nick Ball will take on the undefeated Ludumo Lamati on the undercard of Michael Conlan’s IBF world title clash with Luis Alberto Lopez later this month.
Ball, who is the current WBC silver featherweight champion, was one of the breakout stars of 2022, as he beat Isaac Lowe, Nathanael Kakololo, and Jesus Ramirez Rubio. All three were stopped by the hugely popular 'Wrecking' Ball, who is increasingly becoming a must-see attraction in the sport.
Now 17-0 with 10 KOs to his name, the 26-year-old will return to the ring on Saturday, May 27 at the SSE Arena in Belfast. Lamati, on the other hand, is currently ranked at No. 7 by the IBF at super-bantamweight but had his last fight at featherweight, when he knocked out Mark Anthony Geraldo inside four rounds.

Liverpool super-lightweight Callum Thompson will also feature on the bill as he aims to extend his unbeaten run in the professional ranks. 'The Tank' moved to 6-0 with a points win over Christian Lopez Flores at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre in Manchester last time out.
"We took this opportunity through our friends and colleagues at Top Rank to secure a top-quality world title fight for BT Sport viewers involving local hero Michael Conlan," promoter Frank Warren said.
"The added incentive was getting five BT Sport favourites from the Queensberry ranks onto the card, three of them being Irish fighters in Anto Cacace, Pierce O'Leary, and Willo Hayden, who will all relish the occasion of performing in front of a packed house in Belfast.
"Then there is our demolition man, Nick Ball, who wants to impress and throw down the gauntlet to the winner out of Conlan and Lopez.
"The Liverpool contingent is doubled by our hugely promising super lightweight Callum Thompson, who I am also looking forward to seeing back in action."
