Niall Horan sends fans wild as he teases world tour after third album news

Niall Horan has sent fans wild as he announced his long-awaited third album will be dropping this summer.

The former One Direction star has been teasing his loyal supporters over new music for some time.

But now the 29-year-old has officially said that his new studio album ‘The Show’ will be in the ears on his faithful listeners on June 9.

The Irish singer previously shared a small snippet of a track, getting fans hot under the collar as they anticipated an album announcement was imminent.

He took to Twitter to confirm the news just days before the release of his upcoming single ‘Heaven’.

Niall tweeted: “I couldn’t possibly be more happy to tell you that my new album ‘The Show’ will be released on June 9th,” alongside a link to pre-order the project.

He continued: “This album is a piece of work I’m so proud of and now it’s time to pass it over to you to go and make it your own.

“Thank you so much for being there for me all this time and I can’t wait to share the next couple of years of this new era with you. I’ve missed you all so much. It’s good to be back.”

Niall added: “Welcome to ‘The Show’.”

To add to the hysteria, Niall even teased an impending tour announcement as fans noticed that his website stated any pre-order for his new album will gain “a ticket pre-sale code for forthcoming & yet to be announced UK & Ireland tour dates.”

His devotees went wild under the tweet, with many claiming to be “sobbing” over the announcement after waiting three years for a new album following his last project ‘Heartbreak Weather’, which dropped in 2020.

The hitmaker released his debut album ‘Flicker’ in 2017.

His album announcement came days after the star branded pal Lewis Capaldi a "cheat" after the Scottish singer shared a peck with Harry Styles at the BRIT Awards on Saturday - months after giving the Irishman the same treatment.

Lewis and Harry's cheeky kiss at the BRITs at London's O2 Arena was caught on camera as Lewis, 26, put his arms around the As It Was singer, 29 and planted a smacker on his lips.

Harry went on to win four awards on the evening.

But, Harry's former One Direction bandmate Niall couldn't resist jibing Lewis following their own embrace in December.
