Niall Horan has delighted fans by teasing a Scots tour date after fans were left disappointed following the original announcement which did not include a trip north.
The former One Direction star, 29, took to the stage at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Dundee and noted there had been a "commotion online" after fans spotted there was no Scottish date on his world tour.
Taking to the stage, Niall said: "Don’t worry, it’s a tactic! Look at the dates, see where the gap is…there might be a Scottish one. How could I not?”
During his set at the Dundee festival, the Slow Hands singer shared the trouble he had travelling to the gig. He told fans: “I just got here two hours ago and I was meant to be here yesterday.
“We were doing a festival in America [Boston]. There was a problem with the engine so we got stuck there. We had to drive across America, get a flight, then get another flight…tour bus from Manchester.
He added: “We finally made it. There was no way I was going to miss this.”
Lewis Capaldi also crashed the stage during Niall's performance as the two shared a a sweet moment on stage as fans gushed over the pair. Niall had been performing his track 'Heaven' when Lewis decided he wanted to join the 29-year-old singer on stage for a hug.
"@NiallOfficial & @LewisCapaldi TOGETHER!!! I’m so happy for them both!!!!!!!," penned one fan on Twitter as they shared snaps of the duo wrapping their arms around each other on stage.
Someone else wrote: "The best friendship ever," as they shared an eye-watering emoji, whilst someone else said: "Niall and Lewis are goals."
