One Direction fans get ready as one of its stars, who since the band's hiatus in 2016 has gone on to have a stellar solo career, is coming to Cardiff in 2024 with his tour The Show Live On Tour.
Niall Horan, who found fame in the X Factor-made boy band, will be bringing his world tour to the Cardiff International Arena (previously the Motorpoint Arena) on March 4, 2024. Tickets are available to purchase on Ticketmaster, and it seems fans of the 'Slow Hands' singer are ecstatic over this news.
Announcing the tour dates on social media on Monday, May 22, Niall shared a picture of the tour poster alongside a handwritten message with the caption: "I am beyond thrilled to announce The Show Live On Tour 2024 ! It’s been far too long and I can’t wait to see your beautiful faces. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 2 at 10am local. There are still a few more dates coming so if you don't see a show near you listed, stay tuned."

The sweet handwritten note to his fans read: "Hello lovers. Firstly, thank you all so much for being patient with me. For obvious reasons it took a little longer than anticipated. I also really wanted to get the music right.
"It's been so long since I've toured and I'm so excited to say I will tour in 2024. We will be playing the new album and of course HBW & Flicker. I'm really looking forward to seeing all your beautiful faces out there every night and all over the world. We are more than ready to play for your guys."
The 29-year-old Irish singer continued: "Also, we have two new band members. Emily & Dani have joined us and I know they can't wait to meet you. It's crazy that I haven't toured since 2018. Considering how much touring I did up to then and I just can't wait to get back to travelling the world and going to places I love.
"I want to add this: I really want my show to be a place of pure joy and somewhere you can come to escape and let loose. A place you can truly be yourself. As you'll see, there are lots of dates announced today but don't worry Mexico, South America and Asia. We are working on dates and venues and hope to add these soon."
He concluded his note by urging his fans to "GET YOUR TICKETS!!! love you loads & welcome to 'The Show'" before signing off with the name given to his fans, Nialler.
While general sale tickets go on sale on Friday, June 2 at 10am, those signed up to his mailing list will have access to presale on May 31. For those signed up to presale via TikTok, tickets will go live on June 1. You must be following Niall Horan by May 31 to be eligible.
Soon after the news was released, fans took to social media to voice their excitement. One wrote on Instagram: "WOOHOO!! Can’t WAIT!!" A second said: "oh this will be STELLAR," while a third penned: "Can I just say thank you for announcing it this far in advance? It’s so frustrating when things get announced and go on sale almost right away."
And while most fans are happy, many are in uproar at the fact that no Scotland, Perth or Texas date are on the list.
