NIA raids PFI locations nationwide over terror funding charges; 106 members arrested so far

NIA conducts raid at PFI location in Kerala

New Delhi: In the largest ever anti-terror operation, National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday raided the locations of Popular Front of India (PFI) across 11 states and arrested 106 persons for allegedly being involved in anti-national activities.

So far 106 PFI members have been arrested from Andhra Pradesh (5), Assam (9), Delhi (3), Karnataka (20), Kerala (22), Madhya Pradesh (4), Maharashtra (20), Puducherry (3), Rajasthan (2), Tamil Nadu (10) and Uttar Pradesh (8).
