Netmarble has released a new update for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds which invites everyone to celebrate the Thanksgiving season. There's going to be festive events to enjoy along with a new Raid Dungeon. There's also the AI support system which offers four NPCs to help players taking on the game solo.
That said, players are reminded to bring their appetites especially for the Thanksgiving Season Celebration Event. That's because they get the chance to obtain the "Taste of Heaven Weapon Costume." This item allows them to change the look of their weapon with that of a delicious meal.
Other in-game events that are available through the seasonal update are:
- Thanksgiving Turkey Feast
- Take on different missions and earn Event Tasting Tickets.
- The tickets let players join a special mini-game event which feature a variety of Thanksgiving food items.
- Limited-time rewards include the "Thanksgiving 4★ Familiar Selection Capsule," which contains cute light, earth Familiars.
- Thanksgiving Taste of Heaven
- By completing different missions, players can earn rewards that include Gold or Energy Drink which can help power up their character.
- Completing all of the missions rewards the "Taste of Heaven Weapon Costume."
Black Friday Event
For players who manage to have their fill of turkey, they can check out the Black Friday event, which offer various shopping themed missions. These are:

- Complete various mission and earn, among others:
- Rare 4★ Darkness Familiar Selection Capsule
- 5★ Darkness Exclusive Toy Selection Chest
- Black Friday Celebration! Muse's Thank You Gift
- During the event, the "Muse the Traveling Merchant" appears more frequently with various items available for purchase.
Other New Content
On the serious side of things, players can now test their skills on the third Raid Dungeon known as "Forward Base Depths." It's filled with complex traps and trials and offers a unique challenge for all players. To complete the Raid, it's going to need strategy and coordination.
As already mentioned, the new update also introduces assistance for solo players with the introduction of the AI Support System. What happens is that when a player chooses the AI mode in Dimensional Border and Interstellar Space Party Dungeon solo Mode, four NPCs are going to be summoned as they enter the dungeon and help clear them.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is available for mobile platforms through Android and iOS.
