NHS says it ‘absolutely recognises need’ for revised single-sex spaces guidance

The NHS in England has acknowledged the need to revise its policy on single-sex spaces in the wake of the Darlington tribunal result but said it is waiting for the Equality and Human Rights Commission guidance before it can take action.

It comes as the Government is facing accusations by the Darlington nurses of “dragging their feet” over the issue.
