NHL fans can help pick out the new name for the former Arizona Coyotes team that recently relocated to Utah, per the team’s new owner, Ryan Smith.
Smith posted a survey link on Twitter (X) on Wednesday evening with 20 possible team names that fans can choose from with four preferred votes.
“Utah’s NHL team is for the community and will be named with help from the community,” the survey link reads.
“In partnership with Qualtrics, the leading feedback and experience management provider, and Doubleday & Cartwright, a highly acclaimed creative consultancy and design studio, Smith Entertainment Group (SEG) has created a multi-phase branding process for fans to vote on the name.”
The survey link also says that in 2024, the team will “don jerseys that display UTAH during their inaugural season.”
The first round of voting will be available from Wednesday, May 8, through Wednesday, May 22.
