NGM Group names new chief as $25 billion lender enters next chapter

NGM Group Bernadette Inglis Darren Turner Newcastle Permanent Greater Bank Westpac

The chief executive who oversaw the $20 billion merger of Newcastle Permanent and Greater Bank is stepping down after more than seven years at the helm.

Bernadette Inglis will hand over the reins at Newcastle Greater Mutual Group to James Cudmore, who will be promoted from his role as the bank's chief customer and digital innovation officer.
