Not many people were picking the Los Angeles Rams to beat the Baltimore Ravens last week, but the tables have turned for their upcoming game against the Washington Commanders. With the Rams heavily favored against Sean McVay’s former team, the majority of experts and bettors are taking Los Angeles to take care of business at home.
According to Tallysight, 97% of experts are picking the Rams to win on Sunday. When factoring in the 6.5-point spread, 80% are still taking Los Angeles to cover and win by at least a touchdown. As for the over/under, which is set at 50.5 points, 61% of experts are picking the over, expecting a high-scoring game in Inglewood.
This is the second time all season that the Rams have been favored by at least 6.5 points, with the last time coming in Week 6 against the Cardinals when they were 7.5-point favorites. They won that game by a score of 26-9, easily covering the spread.
The Commanders are fresh off a Week 14 bye but they’ve lost their last four games, including the last three by a total of 77 points. The Rams badly need a win on Sunday, otherwise their playoff odds could drop below 10%.
