After throwing a touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey in the first half of the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jauan Jennings added his second score of the day with a reception from Brock Purdy.
After picking up a tough fourth-down conversion in the red zone, Purdy fired a pass over the middle of the field into the hands of Jennings for a fourth-quarter score.
Behind Jennings’ second touchdown, the 49ers stole the lead back from the Chiefs, 16-13.
After Jennings and Purdy’s connection, the NFL community on Twitter went to Twitter with a flurry of reactions. Here’s a look at what fans and analysts were saying on social media during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Will never forget what a Tennessee coach told me about Jauan Jennings' competitiveness: "He wants to rip your face off".
All-time line that always stuck with me. And a big reason why Jennings has become the NFL player he is.#TheDraftStartsInMOBILE™️ pic.twitter.com/pgkBL6apfh

Brock Purdy & Jauan Jennings (10-yd TD) 📽️
Jennings had a 4.0% chance of scoring a TD when he caught the ball against L'Jarius Sneed in coverage. It was just the second TD allowed by Sneed this season (both have come in the playoffs).#SuperBowlLVIII | #FTTB pic.twitter.com/geu8pJlYp9
