Now that the 2023 season is in the books, one of the biggest issues facing the Pittsburgh Steelers is how to go forward at the quarterback position. Former first-round pick Kenny Pickett struggled and Mason Rudolph came in and gave the offense life.
But according to NFL reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala, it is too late to give up on Pickett and she says he’s never been put in a position to succeed. Kinkhabwala was on the Pod Me Up Podast and offered up some unsettling insight on the Steelers passing game as a defense to Pickett.
@KingRich963 and I had the chance to sit down with @AKinkhabwala on @1PodMeUp on this morbid Tuesday to talk about the state of the Steelers. Specifically Kenny & Coach T. You can listen to the whole convo @ 5pm here on X or YouTube!#HereWeGo #SteelerNation pic.twitter.com/75mynX7q2P

According to Kinkhabwala, there is no other team in the NFL that coaches, plans and prepares the passing offense the way the Steelers did under former head coach Matt Canada. And this is coming from someone who has covered the NFL and been behind the scenes for a long time. If she says what they are doing is atypical of the entire league and we see it isn’t working, you have to hope head coach Mike Tomlin can address this.
