The Seahawks appear to be in the market for a large upgrade at right tackle. Yesterday, ESPN reported that the team would be meeting today with former Patriots offensive tackle Trent Brown, who just became a free agent. Brown has told USA Today’s Josina Anderson that New England is still in the mix, so it’s far from a sure thing that he will sign.
Good news: if they can’t land Brown, another star right tackle is hitting the market. According to another report by Anderson, the Cowboys are releasing La’el Collins today.
The #Cowboys are releasing OL La'el Collins "today," his agent just told me.

Collins (6-foot-4, 320 pounds) is not quite as big but he’s the same age as Trent Brown (both are 28 years old) and has roughly the same ability. This past season, Collins earned excellent grades from Pro Football Focus for passing blocking (76.2) and especially in run blocking (89.8).
Brown might come cheaper, though. Collins would’ve had a $15,250,000 cap number for Dallas.
