After another terrible performance against the rival New England Patriots — his second in as many weeks — the heat is on the New York Jets second-year quarterback Zach Wilson. It’s hard not to think of where the now 6-4 Jets would be as a contender in the AFC if Wilson played even marginally better.
Actually, it’s hard not to think where the Jets would be if Wilson made more of an effort to be a leader that takes accountability for his poor play.
In light of Wilson’s recent seemingly defiant denial of responsibility after a 10-3 loss to the Patriots. NFL fans found it only fair to compare him to a recent response from Buffalo Bills’ star Josh Allen. The Bills’ QB took all the blame for his poor decisions (including a game-ending pick in overtime) in a mind-boggling loss to the Minnesota Vikings:

Meanwhile, here’s how Wilson responded to a performance vs. New England where he completed nine passes and threw for 77 yards (as the Jets punted 10 times):

Zach Wilson: "No." pic.twitter.com/tiJiTSrFPE

Gee. I wonder why people feel better about the Bills’ chances at winning the Super Bowl this year compared to the Jets’ chances?
New York needs work, and their quarterback should probably start by looking in the mirror while seeing how established stars respond to bad individual games.
NFL fans thought the comparison between Allen and Wilson demonstrated exactly where Wilson has to improve as a leader
Nate and I are very different people.
We are very much of one kind with this take it seems. https://t.co/vWpq0GjZ1r

As a Jets fan I've been yelling about this exact scenario for the last like 3 hours. Embarrassing.

if all things were equal (they are not), which qb would you want to play your heart out for as a player?
