NFL fans roasted Joey Bosa for his mindless penalty that helped the Jaguars beat the Chargers

The Jacksonville Jaguars shocked everyone Saturday night when they rallied back in the second half to beat the Los Angeles Charters, 31-30, on a last-second field goal that had everyone in Duval going nuts.

It was another bad loss for the Chargers, who have grown used to finding wild ways to losing games that they should have won.

One of the biggest blunders by the Chargers came from Joey Bosa, who was penalized for taking his helmet off and slamming to the ground after the Jaguars scored a TD to make it 30-26. Bosa was furious because he thought a false start should have been called on the play.

This was costly:

The Jaguars then opted to go for a two-point conversion because the penalty put the ball on the 1 yard line… and it went very well for them.

Those two points, which was an amazing gamble by Doug Pederson, allowed the Jaguars to kick a game-winning field goal a few minutes later:

If Bosa didn’t get that penalty the Jags would have likely kicked the extra point and then would have tied up the game with that field goal.

Bosa cost his team dearly and fans roasted him for it.
