The New England Patriots are having a horrible Christmas Eve.
Bill Belichick and Co. returned home for Week 16 with hopes of forgetting all about last week’s incredibly embarrassing loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Sin City.
Instead, they’re getting embarrassed again and this time they’re doing it in front of their fans, who must be having just an awful time in the freezing temps at Gillette Stadium.
Belichick, who was seen dropping an F-bomb after an early Bengals TD, has had no answers for Joe Burrow, who completed 28(!) passes in the first half. Three of those passes went for TDs, which helped lead the Bengals to a 22-0 lead at the break.
The Patriots’ offense, meanwhile, continued to be the definition of horrible with Mac Jones throwing for just 29 yards so far.
That’s not great!
NFL fans roasted Belichick and the Patriots.
