Mac Jones has only been in the NFL for just under two years but he already has a reputation for doing dirty things on the field and that reputation will only grow after you see what he did during Sunday’s loss to the Bengals.
In the fourth quarter the Bengals defense picked up what they thought was a fumble and tried to return it for a touchdown. The refs, however, blew the play dead and called Jones for intentional grounding.
But what the Patriots’ QB did during the Bengals’ return attempt is something that should be called out, because it was dirty and unnecessary and he’s lucky he didn’t injure Bengals DB Eli Apple.
