Daniel Jones and the New York Giants came right down to the wire, barely beating the Tuesday deadline to use the franchise tag by agreeing to a monster four-year, $160 million extension with the possibility to earn up to another $35 million in incentives.
That’s not too bad for a quarterback who has won just one playoff game in his four-year NFL career.
Jones, however, is coming off a fine season in which he picked up that first playoff win on the road over the Vikings, before getting blown out by the Eagles in the divisional round.
