The Chiefs captured their second Super Bowl title in four seasons in February when they defeated the Eagles in comeback fashion, 38–35 in Super Bowl LVII.
On Thursday night, the franchise held its ring ceremony for the players who were part of the Super Bowl team, and unveiled the rings for the first time.
On one side, the ring details all three Super Bowl wins, and gives a nod to the fans “Chiefs Kingdom” on top of the Super Bowl LVII emblem.
The top of the ring shows three Lombardi trophies, and slides off to show a depiction of Arrowhead Stadium.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes provided his input on the design on the ring, and when speaking with reporters on Thursday afternoon following the final minicamp practice of the summer, he expressed his excitement for Thursday night’s ceremony.
“Yeah I’m very excited,” Mahomes said. “That’s what you work for, to win the Super Bowl and get those rings. They last a lifetime. To be able to see them, I know they’ve done a great job with them. I got to help out a little bit with the creating process. They did a great job with them. Tonight is the last night you get to celebrate it and then we’re moving on to next season.”

This has to be the coolest championship ring ever designed. The top comes off and turns into a pendant and reveals an overhead view of Arrowhead. Brilliant. The Chiefs nailed it. https://t.co/SUzdx760sO

The story behind every stone, every detail of this exquisite ring is incredible. Travis was right...there is no other SB ring like this one.
