NFL DFS Week 4 optimal lineup

Devising the perfect Daily Fantasy Sports strategy for the NFL can be a challenge, which is why I'm here to assist.

On DraftKings, it's important to remember you're playing full-point PPR with bonuses if a player surpasses 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards or 100 receiving yards.

Here is my optimal lineup for Sunday's $4 million Fantasy Football Millionaire contest, but can be utilized as a foundation in other games and platforms.

All prices listed are courtesy of DraftKings with a $50,000 budget.

These lineups have netted $160, so I'm in the black $120 through three weeks.

— QB: Josh Allen, Bills ($8,400)

The Ravens' pass defense was victimized by Tua Tagovailoa (Week 2's QB2) and Mac Jones (Week 3's QB9) the last two games — Baltimore has allowed the most passing yards per game this season (353.3). There will likely be a bit of rain and wind due to the remnants of Hurricane Ian — from the Carolinas up to New York City through Sunday — but if there's a quarterback who shouldn't be affected by this, it's the strong-armed Allen.

— RB: Saquon Barkley, Giants ($8,000)

Barkley is game-script-proof thanks to his robust usage — he leads the NFL in scrimmage yards (408) while averaging four receptions per game. The dynamic back should have a big day against a Bears defense coughing up the NFL's 11th-most fantasy points to running backs.

— RB: Rashaad Penny, Seahawks ($4,900)

The Lions have allowed the most rushing touchdowns (six) to running backs and Penny is still dominating volume in Seattle's rush attack.

— WR: Gabe Davis, Bills ($6,600)

Most of the field will likely stack Allen with Stefon Diggs, so utilizing Davis may create some leverage. Also, the Ravens have allowed the most receiving yards per game (96.3) to No. 2 wide receivers. Baltimore has especially struggled with vertical threats — like Davis — allowing 17 completions on 26 passes that traveled at least 15 air yards for 512 yards and two touchdowns. Davis carries a questionable tag (ankle) again this week. If he's out Sunday morning, you can easily pivot to DK Metcalf ($6,800) or CeeDee Lamb ($6,700), who both have massive ceilings this week.

— WR: Drake London, Falcons ($6,100)

London has the fifth-highest target share (32.2%) and has at least five receptions, 74 yards or a touchdown in every game this season. The Browns have already been burned this season by Robbie Anderson (five receptions for 102 yards and a TD), Garrett Wilson (eight receptions for 102 yards and two TDs), Corey Davis (two receptions for 83 yards and a TD) and Diontae Johnson (eight receptions for 84 yards).

— WR: Joshua Palmer, Chargers ($5,000)

Palmer led Los Angeles in snaps (93%), routes run, targets (nine) and had six receptions for 99 yards last week. Keenan Allen remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and Jalen Guyton is done for the season with a torn ACL. The speedster has been PPR's overall WR26 in two games without Allen.

— TE: David Njoku, Browns ($3,700)

Only the Cardinals have given up more fantasy points to tight ends than the Falcons and Njoku never leaves the field — he has yet to play fewer than 88% of Cleveland's offensive snaps in any game. Also, only Mark Andrews (35.2%), Tyler Higbee (23.5), Kyle Pitts (22.8), Travis Kelce (21.8) and Pat Freiermuth (20.4) have received a higher share of their team's targets this season at the position — Njoku has a 17.4% target share.

— FLEX: Alec Pierce, Colts ($3,900)

The Titans have allowed the fourth-most receiving yards (614) and have tied for the most touchdown receptions (six) to wide receivers this year. Rookie deep threat Pierce faces a secondary that has allowed 12 of 21 pass attempts traveling at least 15 air yards for 392 yards and two touchdowns. Another potential flex flier with upside is Rondale Moore ($3,800) if he's active for Arizona at Carolina.

— DST: Buffalo Bills ($3,200)

This is another attempt to create leverage on the field.
