Sam Hartman is best known for two things: playing quarterback and sporting perhaps the best hair in college football.
The Notre Dame quarterback took his talents to the professional stage on Saturday at the scouting combine in Indianapolis, where his flowing locks became the subject of discussion on the NFL Network broadcast.
“I feel like I’m watching the opening of Braveheart here,” analyst Daniel Jeremiah said when the broadcast showed a slow-motion clip of Hartman running the 40-yard dash.
