Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow just used his Pro Bowl platform to pressure the team about paying guys like Tee Higgins.
The question remains, though, whether Higgins and the Bengals will see eye-to-eye on contract numbers.
This is a debate that rages all over the place right now, especially on programs over at ESPN. Dan Orlovsky and former Bengals wideout Andrew Hawkins just had a conversation about whether Higgins wants to go be a No. 1 elsewhere.
“I don’t know Tee Higgins personally, but he has not striked me as that type of player,” Hawkins said. “If you’re going to Jayden Daniels from Joe Burrow and the money is $5, $10 million more than you’d make somewhere else, it’s the business as well…you’re not taking a big step back.”

Near the end of December, though, a report went out stating that Higgins’ top priority isn’t to be a No. 1 receiver.
Aligning with that idea, Higgings changed agents, and another report said the Big 3 have been plotting ways to stay together.
As Hawkins hints, though, all of that is great news — but it will come down to money, too. Specifically, the Bengals’ front office being willing to pay Higgins what he is worth.
