Neymar has branded Manchester United star Casemiro the "best midfielder in the world" after he scored the winner against Switzerland to send Brazil though to the knockout stages at the World Cup.
Brazil opened their Group G charge with a 2-0 victory over Serbia and followed that up by taking three more points on Monday night. However, the Serbia game came at a cost with Neymar picking up an ankle injury.
It meant he will play no further part in the group stages while there are question marks over the PSG superstar and his fitness heading closer to the business end of the tournament in Qatar. In his absence, Casemiro led the way with a decisive strike against Switzerland at Stadium 974.

Casemiro, who was signed by United from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, is more renowned for his defensive capabilities in the engine room. However, when his country needed him most, the 30-year-old settled the scores at the other end with a first-time shot that gave Yann Sommer no chance.
It was a goal Neymar himself would have been proud of as he watched on from the stands before hailing Casemiro as the best on the planet in his position. No sooner than the final whistle had sounded, Neymar took to social media platform Twitter to share his views on the United player.
He wrote: "Casemiro has been the best midfielder in the world for a long time." Addressing his 59.4million followers on the platform, the post has been liked over 300,000 times with around 35,000 users retweeting the comment.
Casemiro joined United for an initial £60million after nine glittering seasons with Madrid.
