Paris Saint-Germain and Brazilian star Neymar has reportedly decided to stay put at the Parc de Princes in a bid to try and win the Champions League next season under soon-to-be new manager Christopher Galtier.
It has been a summer of change so far in the French capital. Despite winning the Ligue 1 title in 2021/22, the head of the Qatar Sports Investments group Nasser Al-Khelafi had ordered a review into the structure of the club after another failure in Europe. Real Madrid knocked PSG out in their road to winning the 2021/22 competition and this was seen as a reason for change in the eyes of the owner.
Consequently, Lille manager Christopher Galtier is close to being appointed as Pochettino's successor, whilst Luis Campos has already been put in place at the expense of Leonardo. Kylian Mbappe has signed his new bumper deal which has seen him snub Real Madrid and remain in France. Whilst all this change was going on, the future of 30-year-old Neymar was unknown heading into the busy summer transfer window.
