Teammates of Gabriel Jesus have been sending their messages to the Arsenal striker after it was confirmed that he would miss the rest of Brazil's World Cup campaign due to a knee injury. Jesus sustained a knee problem in their final group H game against Cameroon and was forced off after 64 minutes.
football.london understands that the 25-year-old has been ruled out for three to four weeks after scans detected an injury, although some reports suggest that could be as much as three months, with the injury worse than initially feared.
Jesus is now expected to miss the Gunners' first competitive game back against West Ham on Boxing Day and it remains to be seen how much of the fixture list he will be forced to sit out in the new year.

Jesus has made his mark in Mikel Arteta's side this season after joining Oleksandr Zinchenko in arriving from Premier League title rivals Manchester City in the summer. He has scored five goals and registered another seven assists in 20 games for the Gunners and has played a starring role to help the club to the top of the table.
As Brazil prepares for their World Cup round of 16 tie against South Korea tomorrow (Monday), Jesus' teammates have been sending their best wished to the forward regarding his injury. PSG star Neymar wrote in his Instagram story: "Strength and faith. We will always be together," while Philippe Countino said, "You are a phenomenon brother".
Arsenal transfer target Douglas Luiz also commented on Jesus' Instagram post, writing: "You're brave, brother, good recovery, sure you'll come back stronger!"
