For more than a decade, SteamDB has been PC gaming's unofficial dashboard — the place you go to check a concurrent player count, dig through a game's build history, spot an unannounced depot, or confirm whether that "sale price" is actually the lowest it's ever been. It ran on the labor of a very small number of people, and mostly on one.
That era has ended. SteamDB has been acquired by Nexus Mods, the modding platform, placing both sites under Chosen, the parent company founded by Victor Folmann.
