With zero Premier League wins from the opening 10 games the next Wolves manager odds market is a hot topic and the latest name to be linked with the club is Manchester United’s stand-in coach Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Who Will Be The Next Wolves Manager? The Layers Install Ruud van Nistelrooy As Favourite
If the SportsCasting prices and the odds with the best football betting sites in the UK are to be believed then the next Wolves manager could be Ruud van Nistelrooy.
The former Red Devil player was the assistant boss at Old Trafford behind Erik ten Hag.
However, with his fellow Dutchman sacked recently and the new owners appointing Sporting’s Rubin Amorim, then Van Nistelrooy could be on his bike once he’s finished his interim head coach duties.
Which could pave a way into landing a main football manager role.
Therefore, with Wolves rooted to the foot of the Premier League table with just three points and no wins, many feel that Gary O’Neill’s days at Molineux are numbered. As a result the Midlands club are the favourites to be stepping back onto the manager’s merry-go-round first.
With that in mind, and with Rudd van Nistelrooy’s current situation at United, it’s no shock to see the Dutchman as the 11/4 favourite to be the next Wolves manager.

Other Next Wolves Manager Candidates Also Include Gareth Southgate and David Moyes
Just behind Van Nistelrooy in the next Wolves manager odds market are two other familiar names – Gareth Southgate and David Moyes.
The best betting sites in the UK and SportsCasting traders are making former England boss Southgate as short as 4/1. With David Moyes on offer at a slightly bigger 13/2.
Both are free agents at the moment, so making a move for them would be easier for Wolves, should they part ways with Gary O’Neill.
Southgate, of course, stepped down at the Three Lions manager after the 2024 Euros. While Moyes hasn’t worked since he left West Ham at the end of the 2023/24 season.
Another manager that’s not employed at the moment is former Porto man Sergio Conceicao and with the Wolves owners having a Portuguese coach in the past with Nuno Espirito Santo – they could be tempted to look towards this country again.
Commentary: sportscasting.com/uk spokesman Andy Newton, reacted to our ‘Next Wolves Manager’ odds saying:
“Despite Gareth Southgate being as short as 4/1 to be the next Wolves manager, who feel that the former England boss won’t fancy the pressure of trying to keep Wolves from being relegated so soon after leaving his England role.
“Ruud van Nistelrooy looks the obvious call. But this would also be a gamble with the Dutchman still wet behind the ears when it comes to management.
“Therefore, the safer call for Wolves would be to turn to the more experienced David Moyes, who has been managing for over 26 years – which also includes a stack of knowledge leading a side in the Premier League – something that can’t be said for Van the Man.
