As the weather gets warmer, it means only one thing - sandal season is almost here.
If you're looking for a stylish, yet affordable pair of open-toe shoes, then Next shoppers have been raving over a pair of sandals they say are a 'dupe' for Dr Martens worth nearly £100.
The retailer's Black Chunky Gladiator Sandals, priced at £38, have gone down a storm with fashion fans who have been searching for a comfy shoe for summer.
What's even better, the high-street store's version look almost identical to the beloved Blaire Sandals from Dr Martens that are a bit pricier at £99 a pair. That means that Next shoppers could save themselves a whopping £61 with the retailer's 'dupe'.
As reported by BelfastLive, the Next shoes offer a more traditional gladiator style, with the same ankle strap and three straps across the foot.
The only major difference is the 'dupe' features an additional strap down the middle of the sandals, giving it the classic gladiator style.
The Chunky Gladiator Sandals are available to buy in sizes 3-9, with half-sizing and wife-fit also an option to help shoppers find the perfect fit. Shoppers can also choose from three colours - black, bone cream and gold - though it is the black that is the same colour as Dr Marten.
With a chunky sole and moulded footbed, the Next sandals are a stylish and comfortable pairing that you can wear with any of your outfits this spring, whether it be jeans or a dress.
Shoppers who have previously snapped up the £38 sandals have flocked to the Next website to praise them for their comfort and style.
One impressed shopper wrote: "Lovely sandals very chunky great quality a definite dupe of doc Martins!!! I loooove them."
A second five-star reviewer said: "Very comfy and stylish."
A third gushed: "These sandals are fab! Super comfy and amazing value…I love them."
Another added: "Well made. I haven’t worn them yet waiting for the sun."
The £38 Chunky Gladiator Sandals are available to purchase from the Next website. You can also check with your local store for stock availability.
