The future of West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui looks bleak, with bookies suspending the market for the next manager to be sacked.
Julen Lopetegui On Brink Of Losing His Job
Things went from bad to worse for West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui, after his side crashed to a 3-1 defeat to Leicester City on Tuesday night.
The result kept West Ham 14th in the Premier League standings – after losing 50% of their games this season.
West Ham were a comfortable top-half team last season and were expected to do well after some promising business in the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports have reported that the former Wolves manager’s future is hanging in the balance.
After the game he said: “We had 31 shots in the opposition box, normally you have to win this match. We had many chances but did not score.
“Tomorrow, we will start looking for the next challenge, knowing we are able to change the situation.
“They want to win for them, for me and the club. Football is about the win. Today is a day where we deserved much more. The next will be the most important, we must be focused.”
"60/40 he leaves West Ham by the end of the week" 🗣️

Bookmakers Suspend Next Manager To Be Sacked Odds
As reported by Oddschecker, some bookmakers have taken down their next manager to be sacked odds, after West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui’s latest defeat.
They claim that eight bookmakers were pricing the market just 10 days ago and only Ladbrokes Coral now remain.
This suggests that they are preparing for Lopetegui’s departure from the Hammers. Lopetegui is the favourite to be sacked ahead of Southampton’s Russell Martin.
West Ham’s upcoming fixtures include Wolves and Brighton at home, and Bournemouth away. Julen Lopetegui will be hoping that he can stick out his role as West Ham manager for their upcoming games.
