There is a touch of spring in the air (despite the rain) and lots of us are already thinking about their spring/summer wardrobe and those bright evenings.
One of the most popular style of sandals for the last few years has been the Dr Martens Blaire Sandals, £99 here . The gladiator style straps and chunky flatform sole make them ideal for wearing with everything from flowy floral dresses to jeans, and the triple foot strap and ankle strap make sure they’re comfortable and your feet don’t slide around in them.
However, the £99 price tag isn’t exactly cheap, and although you’ll get plenty of wear out of them over the warmer months, you can’t exactly brave the snow with your toes out, meaning they’ll be packed away as soon as autumn rolls around.

But if you don't want to splurge, high-street favourite Next are offering a pretty exact dupe of the Blaire sandals, and they cost just £38. Their version offer a more traditional gladiator style, with the same ankle strap and three straps across the foot, but also features an additional strap down the middle of the sandals, giving it the classic gladiator style.
The chunky sandals are available in sizes 3-9, but also offer half sizing and wide fit in many of the sizes so you can get the perfect fit. They also come in both a bronzed golden colour and white, which would be a perfect pick for pairing with floaty spring dresses.
Shoppers have been giving the stylish sandals five-star ratings with many commenting on how comfortable they are.
One impressed reviewer said: "Lovely sandals very chunky great quality a definite dupe of doc Martins!!! I loooove them."
Another said: "These sandals are fab! Super comfy and amazing value…I love them."
A third commented: "Very comfy and stylish."
