Chelsea's search for a new manager continues to be the focus at Stamford Bridge after their Champions League exit was confirmed in midweek. The Blues are believed to have produced a four-man shortlist for the rule, though that number is now at three after Julian Nagelsmann pulled out of the running.
It was long believed that the former Bayern Munich manager was the favourite to replace Graham Potter at Stamford Bridge. However, the German has since joined Luis Enrique in dropping out of the race, forcing Todd Boehly to look elsewhere.
Mauricio Pochettino is now the favourite to take over in SW6 for the 2023/24 season but Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has emerged as a surprise candidate along with Burnley's Vincent Kompany.

The Australian has been linked with the Premier League for some time after guiding Celtic to the Scottish Premier League title and Premier Sports Cup in his debut campaign. However, he has remained in Scotland and is within touching distance of retaining the league title ahead of Rangers.
Postecoglou took charge of Celtic's SPL game with Motherwell on Saturday as normal, despite external noise linking him with a move away. The Hoops' run of 17 straight wins was put to an end with a 1-1 draw in their final league game before the league table split.
After the game, captain Callum McGregor was asked about the 57-year-old and his future. "He's been fantastic," he said. "He's had a really good tenure and we want to keep him.
"His work is outstanding and he's a really good person. That's the type of people you want to work with and we would be delighted to keep as long as we can.
"His work speaks for itself, the style that he plays, the attacking and the amount of goals that we score. That's going to get people talking but I think his full focus is going to be on the job at hand here and as long as we can keep him we will be delighted."
