Police in Newtownabbey are helping steer young people away from anti-social behaviour on off-road motorbikes.
The Motorcycle Awareness Project is aimed at teaching them how to behave safely on the machines which are sometimes associated with dangerous activity including riding them in public places and without safety equipment.
The six week youth education programme got underway earlier this month and is being aimed at young people “involved or viewed as likely to become involved in anti-social behaviour involving off-road motorcycles”.
